“At our first visit with Dr. Kerr I explained that my daughter was breech the last few weeks of my pregnancy and I had to have an inversion procedure done at 38 weeks to turn her. Thankfully, the procedure was successful and I was able to have a smooth labor/delivery.
Dr. Kerr was recommended to us by our midwife/lactation consultant to help my six week old daughter with feeding. I had also noticed that my daughter seemed to favor looking to one side and very rarely turned her head to the center or to the other side. Prior to visiting Dr. Kerr it would take my daughter 40 mins or more to take a 3 oz bottle. Dr. Kerr was so helpful and has a vast wealth of knowledge that put me at ease during our first visit.
It was fascinating to learn how my baby's position when she was breech had affected her physically. It essentially made her face one direction which was why she couldn’t turn her head now. I watched as Dr. Kerr did her first adjustment and it released my daughter’s neck and she turned her head completely to the other side. It was so cool to watch. She still favored the one side but we left with a lot more mobility. That night my husband couldn’t believe that it only took her 20 mins to take a bottle. We were both amazed what one small adjustment did to help our baby girl.
My baby girl is now 5 months old and we have been seeing Dr. Kerr every few weeks. I am still amazed at the differences I see in our daughter. At one point she started to show signs of a flat skull in the back because of her favoring the one side. Dr. Kerr has been working to help keep everything in alignment a little each visit and thanks to her my baby girl’s skull is developing nicely. We are very grateful for Dr. Kerr and my daughter loves to smile and coo at Dr. Kerr while she works.”
